BULLET PERFORMANCE RETURNS TO THE 25 HOURS OF THUNDERHILL
Costa Mesa, CA - November 22, 2006:
Bullet Performance will return to Thunderhill Raceway Park this December to take part in the world's longest endurance race, NASA's 25 Hours of Thunderhill. The team will campaign a BMW E36 M3 in the E0 Class. Bullet Performance (www.bulletmotorworks.com) has entered a car in every event since the inception of this long and grueling race.
This year Bullet Performance has teamed up with the NITTO Tire Corporation (www.nittotire.com) to show case their new R-compound D.O.T. tire - the NNITTO NT01. "The NT01 is the perfect tire for our team. It is quick, consistent, has an intermediate rain pattern and is very durable. What better place to prove that than in the longest endurance race in the world?" said team owner Marc Ghafouri.
The team is also sponsored by Split Second (www.splitsec.com). Split Second designs, develops and manufactures precision automotive instrumentation and control products for OEM and aftermarket applications. The Piloti Shoe Company (www.piloti.com) is also returning to the 25 Hour with their excellent driving shoe. PIAA (www.piaa.com) will be lighting the way for us through the long night.
The team will return with the same drivers and crew from last year's 2nd-Place effort. Drivers include Mickey Miller (Costa Mesa, CA); Scott Lang (Huntington Beach, CA); Travis Weltzien (Costa Mesa, CA); Ralph Warren (Irvine, CA); and Marc Ghafouri (Huntington Beach, CA). The crew is composed of experienced BMW master mechanics from Bullet Performance.
Team NITTO NT01 is looking forward to the grueling racing environment, unexpected challenges and camaraderie that can only be found at the NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill.
